Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of the muscle, connective tissue and fascia. The practitioner will use firm pressure and massage techniques such as muscle stripping, friction and trigger point therapy, flushing the tissues of lactic acid and other metabolic waste, releasing problem areas and helping to relieve chronic pain.
Hot Stone Massage
Heated, smooth stones are placed on the body to warm and loosen areas of tension and balance energy centers. The therapist may use the stones in their hands to apply soft pressure throughout the massage.
